The Global Movement of Moderates (GMM) Foundation and the Human Rights Resource Centre (HRRC) will be hosting a session on freedom of religion in ASEAN during the ASEAN Peoples’ Forum 2015. The activity will examine understandings of and commitments towards religious freedom in ASEAN, identify obstacles, consider how gaps can be expediently addressed, and discuss the implications of not dealing with these concerns from the perspective of ASEAN integration. The HRRC will also present some key findings of its recently published 10-country report, “Keeping the Faith: A Study of Freedom of Thought, Conscience and Religion in ASEAN.”
