Summary: This handbook was produced as a result of a workshop conducted for local groups working in the Deep South of Thailand. It aims to help human rights monitors in their monitoring work. Standards and principles guaranteeing the right to life and liberty are highlighted, a checklist for monitoring courts and trials based on fair trial standards is provided, clarifying also the right to fair trial instates of emergency. |
